On July 6, 2016 we arrived at your cemetery to lay a loved on to rest . As we drove in we noticed the grass was quite high . As we drove further we noticed that there was trash all over the ground due to the white trash containers were all full and over flowing.( It so happens the grave that the trash had blew into was that of a loved ones that happen to be there burying another loved one.)They happen to be the ones that cleaned the trash up ! As we walked to the burial sight there was two more trash containers full and what lay on top of one of those containers AN AMERICIAN FLAG ! ( Which someone from our group removed from the trash container ! ) I am appalled at the disrespect the your cemetery showed for this family burying a loved one and for all the other families with loved ones buried there . I can tell you I am not the only person that was quite discussed .

  • Your are rating the cemetery, not the church, which isn't affiliated with the cemetery in any way. You (and everyone) are welcome to attend the church's worship services, which are held at 11 a.m. each Sunday. It is a small but caring church that welcomes visitors and new members.

One star is too high of a rating for this cemetery.

As a frequent visitor to this cemetery, I have, unfortunately, become accustomed to the general state of disarray; grounds are rarely cut and trash cans are often full.

I recently attended a grave-side service for my uncle, and surprisingly, the experience was even more appalling than prior visits. In addition to knee-high weeds, trash cans were overflowing with food containers and soda bottles. This was clearly not a recent occurrence as a significant amount of this trash was strewn across many grave sites.

While mowing is subject to weather conditions, the act of emptying trash cans is simply not a difficult or time-consuming task. I can only presume the maintenance / grounds crew are either incredibly lazy, shockingly disrespectful or completely apathetic to the feelings of those visiting the cemetery. Regardless of the excuse, they should be replaced with caring individuals who have a strong work ethic and understand the importance of respect.
